Dear all been avid user of tvheadend for a while but just had enough of tv channels going array I have installed nextpvr on A headless Linux machine which has 4 Pci DVB -s2 cards in mainly montage technology ds3000 and conexant 24117 however none of the devices show up can anyone help with this as tvheadend shows them.

Ps I haven’t uninstalled tvheadend yet as I want to prove that nextpvr works first

You need to upload your zipped logs however to quickly determine if your devices are properly identified by dvbv5 you can check the command line NextPVR uses

/opt/nextpvr/system/DeviceHost/x64/DeviceHostLinux -discover

Here is the output

dvb-tools:
Installed: 1.12.3-1
Candidate: 1.12.3-1
Version table:
*** 1.12.3-1 500
500 http://httpredir.debian.org/debian stretch/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Your version isn't obsolete but sub would have to comment on the missing function that is being called dvb_dev_seek_by_adapter

If you check the apt output it is Debian stretch.
