I have been running v4 since January 2020 (Windows 10 / i5 / 12GB RAM) with no problems.

My PC auto-updated the Intel HD graphics driver yesterday (20.19.15.5126). There is no option to roll-back the driver. Since then, trying to play a recording or live TV in the client results in choppy video & audio. If the STOP button is hit quickly enough, you get back to the client, otherwise the client locks up in a few seconds. The client then needs to be killed in Task Manager.

I uninstalled v4, updated the HDHomerun software and installed NextPVR v5. After configuration, I get the same symptoms with the client, but I can play recordings & live TV in the web client. The recordings also play fine in VLC.

Logs are attached.

I'd reinstall LAV 32 bit drivers and confirm LAV is the decoder for AC3.

I did that for v4, but it didn't help. It didn't fix it for v5, either.

try newer (or older) intel drivers from support.intel.com. often times whatever comes through Windows Update isn't the best.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct

The PC is an HP Elitebook 840 G1, so I can't install Intel drivers (only OEM-signed drivers from HP). I downgraded to the previous version HP had available (20.19.15.5107), but the stuttering video/audio & lockups continue.
I will try removing NextPVR v5 and re-install v4 with the older drivers.
Any other ideas would be appreciated!
