Jorm,

I'm having some problems with the new version:

1) Sometimes when clicking on xrecord it sits then goes back to the MVP "contacting servers" then returns to the main menu
2) a fair amount of the time now when I try to play a video (TV show recorded through GBPVR) it just goes to a black screen and I have to turn the MVP off then back on to get it working again.

I have tried playing the recordings through other plugins and they work. They also play through xrecord but not consistently. Any ideas or logs I need to check?

thank KA.

Spyder40,
I have seen these as well. The second I think it might be the mvp box or gbpvr. I have one call
playfile(filename). It is hard to screw that up. Smile

The first one the mvp reboots when it does not get a response for 10 seconds. Did it take that long to come up before it lost connection?

It probably is 10 seconds or so. I'm actually now seeing it going to the built in TV guide which seemed to scream after the upgrade. I must have something else going on also. Time to look through the logs and see if there are any errors. I did just do the weather update since msnbc changed their pages. I also might try trimming back my plugins, they're all so cool I have a ton loaded!

Jorm,

I just noticed that the GBPVR process is now not running at a high priority. It is set in the config.xml to true. I'll post in the release thread and see what sub says.
