Server crash on v5.1.3.210711

Logs attached for server crash about 9:50pm CDT 7/27/21. We had a show playing on the server PC with kodi/knewc and my wife went up to bed and tried to start a show on the ODroid N2 upstairs when it crashed. Server PC playback was still going, but ghosted behind Kodi menu.

It's not clear how Kodi can be streaming if the server is crashed. You'd need to provide both sets of Kodi debug log if there was any hope of finding something. It might also be worth checking journctl for crash messages.

I'm guessing he's using the path substitution like I do. So the kodi playback is reading directly from the file and is not dependent upon the NextPVR server. Just after the server crashes, there isn't any knewc OSD, control, etc.

Right you are Bret. I thought the issue was the ODroid which was using streaming but I see now it was the server PC that was playing which wouldn't need path substitution.

Thanks for the responses, sorry for the delay, work has been insane.

Server (local) kodi logs attached. Hopefully the crash date info is still on the ODroid, I'll go after that next.

Weird, kodi on the ODroid N2+ would upload the crash log and the config w/o logs, but not the standard logs. I tried multiple times, odd....

I used scp to copy them to my server, might just make a script to run to do this for each client as that seems pretty easy and I can do it without leaving the recliner. :-)

These aren't debug logs so we can't see what is going on. ou'd need to the crash info get with dmesg or journctl. Are you using my libgdiplus or the distro version?

Sorry I can't remember if I'm using your libgdiplus or the distro version - is there an easy way to check?

dmesg attached from server, ODroid is asleep, I'll have to wake it up when I get back home to get dmesg.

Server PC since you said the server crashed.

I guess check the date of libgdiplus with ls -lt /lib/libgdiplus.so* I remember giving it out in the spring
