It discusses the use of .NET Framework from VB6 applications. I suspect you'd need to employ these sort of techniques to do what you want. In saying that, the discussions are about generic .NET utilisation - there may be specifics in GB-PVR plugin development which may not translate.

I haven't tried it so can't say further than that.
