Keying Channel Numbers

It would be of immense benefit to me and I'm sure others if the standard desktop version of NPVR would let you select a new channel while watching another using the keyboard (Windows 11) - in the same way that the UI client lets you. The latter doesn't work for me as it cannot transcode quickly enough and sound is very noisy.

It does, and the desktop client does not need transcoding. Maybe you don't have the LAV 32 bit decoders installed properly.

From memory you have to use the numbers at the top of the keyboard not the ones on the number pad

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. I had LAV 64-bit installed but changed to 32-bit -0 made no difference, problem is I don't understand the multitude of options enough to change anything. I have solved to some extent though as i now have a working perfectly uiclient - after poking around I found the video card (NVIDIA K4000 in a Dell Precision 5820 with an Intel Xeon W-2133 processor) had the GPU usage set to all tasks rather then graphics only. Changing that solved the problem in an Opera browser.

However the standard NPVR setup still does not respond to numbers from any location. Same applies to keyed channel numbers on my Dell Optiplex 3060 but that had no display problems in the first place using the standard interface or uiclient  with the Intel onboard 4K graphics and core-i5-8500 cpu in a Pale Moon browsers

For LAV you change the audio and video decoders to LAV in NextPVR, the defaults in LAV itself should be fine. Also make sure you are using the EVR renderer.

Er no...  If I right-click on the image shown I end up with the program guide and no sign of 'Settings' in the popup menu.

Anyway, I've put KODI on now and that has solved all my problems so I'll stick with that for now.
