Pretty sure it doesn't matter what you choose if you're automapping to freesat epg.

I never had much luck with the built in EPG's I'm afraid. I ended up paying for a subscription on schedules direct and setting that up. I had to manually set many f the channels but it works really well.

Thanks for your help. I'm starting to get more listings now. I'm going to try playing around with the channels that don't have listings. Is the 'Freesat (UK)' source stored as a file, and if so, where is it located? I want to take a look at how the channels are identified and which ones have listing in the files.

Unfortunately no, there isn't a file for you to look at. They're extracted from the stream, and listings written to the NextPVR database. It does log information about listings it sees though.

Hi all

I've just upgraded from V4 to V5, with a clean install.
Having also moved house too, i thought it just better to have a clean install for tuning etc.

My DVB-T Antenna card is working fine.
but my DVB-S card is not picking up any EPG.
It can view all channels happily. just not getting the EPG, it used to in V4.

Any ideas?

For which channel and from which client? There are appears to be data loading for many channels on the daily update and the manual one this morning and recordings are scheduled into the future until at least the 25th.

Did you try Ctrl-F5? Is Kodi OK?
