uidroid - live TV often fails to start.

Recently got a new TV and installed uidroid and updated NPVR on the "server".
When I watch a recording on the "android tv", it is usually fine, however when I watch live TV is only works occasionally. Some channels never work, some usually work, but there is no pattern (I checked which frequencies they are on and no correlation).
The logs from the server suggest that nothing is going wrong at the server end.
See attached sections of logs.
If I use the web interface on the TV, I can watch live TV no problem.
Where should I look?

Logs need to be zipped to be attached and send the complete log zip file not snippets.

For a channel that doesn't work let let it play using NextPVR.exe for a minute and before exiting save the Live TV buffer file that is created and put it on cloud storage and send me a link.

Are you expecting UK Freeview (H264, LATM) to work with udroid?
I ask as it's never worked for me which I thought I reported some time back.
I'd just assumed that this was a no-go for the same reason that I have to transcode all my .ts files to .mp4 in postporcess.bat in order to watch them.
Perhaps it depends on the TV/Android version.

Martin, I thought I was making it easier by just sending the relevant bits of the logs. I'll do it again when I have time, and the live buffer file.
gEd, The TV concerned can decode H264 and 265 among a whole list of others, and recordings and some live tv does play via the client and all play via the web.
New symptom: I get the problem again if I try to watch a recording that is still being recorded

It really isn't expectation gEd. uidroid just asks ExoPlayer to play them and if the device supports them they might play. I don't have enough UK samples I think I just have two from you, and one works. The problem isn't h264 or LATM, with your bad sample for Universe it is the unknown codecs in the recording that cause issues, even ffmpeg doesn't understand them. I think I have suggested it would be great if these where filtered out by NextPVR. I expect these files would play in Kodi too, since they have a built in demux.

As for ts to mp4 that is not necessarily transcoding, your bad file works with a simple ffmpeg remux which gets read of the junk.

I am hoping with a few more samples I might be able to figure out how to make ExoPlayer play them, but with a sample size of one I don't want to spend the time.

sorry I meant remux not transcode. I'm happy to disable postprocessing and will find time to upload a few more 5min samples cut with subs cutter (whatever its called)

Yes samples would be good from you and also from smiffypr to see if we are talking one issue.

@smiffypr no I don't want snippets, but the logs that would be most beneficial are client side and I explained them here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid562483 but lets get the samples first When it comes to h/w playback it doesn't matter what your TV says it supports, it is more the quality of the h/w demuxer. If that is the problem Kodi with pvr.nextpvr might be a better choice for now.

So things have changed since I tested this a few months ago as with uidroid (164) 2 out of 4 TS recordings playback and skip perfectly fine.

Some more info, it is not that some channels don't work, it depends on the programme on at the time.
Also, some programmes work some of the time e.g. 2 or 3 times out of ten tries. All the programmes can be watched via the web interface every time.

Full logs attached. 14:26 tried to watch Quest channel, buffering circle displayed, pressed back button after two minutes. 14:26 watched BC News channel, video started with a couple of seconds.
