Apologies, I missed that when I asked later on, I was on vacation supporting just using a phone.
I already gave you the command the ls -la parameter show the owners and rights, that is why I asked to see them. Martin

Yes those are owned by pi not nextpvr not sure how you created them with the service, maybe you ran the command line? I am not even sure why files are marked executable.
You need to research how to make your share accessible to nextpvr group or the video group members. It will be something like sudo chgrp -R groupname /mntRecordings sudo chmod -R 2775 /mntRecordings Martin
