Server not starting

Hi,

I've been using version 5.2.0 with no problems since I installed it.
Yesterday I decided to install the latest version. Now NEXTPVR is completely broken!

I've done a Windows System Restore to a few days ago, and now the Desktop Client opens, but says "unable to connect to the remote server".

I haven't a clue how to fix it!

I've attached the latest log file.

Logs need to be under 2MB and zipped.

First may try again but make sure there is no NPVR.zip file in folder with the installer. Also if you don't have the folder c:\temp create it and send a zipped copy of the file that will be created in there called install.txt

Thanks for looking.

If possible, I'd prefer to make the existing NEXTPVR start ok, rather than try the install again.

I've attached the log file in a zip folder. It's very brief!

That is just the log for NextPVR.exe we need the server logs.

Rerunning the installer will not remove your configuration, it will just update the binary files,

nrecord log file is empty.

When I tried the install, the desktop client "started" with an exception and a red cross in the window, so that seemed a worse problem than I've got now!

No not worse, that would be normal if the server isn't working. I've provide the best approach so if you don't want to do that I can't help you.

Install completed.
When I try and start the desktop client it fails with an exception report. I've attached the detailed text from it.
I've also included a jpg of the red "cross".

Where is the install.txt file that I asked for? Also do you always run from the S: drive?
