As per the title.......

Is there any support for the Hollywood + Cards (instead of the XCard) for TV Out?

These are a heap cheaper than the Xcard and can be found 2nd hand.

Thanks
Bigted

My Setup:
Windows Server 2003 SP1 on AMD XP2200+, 1 Gig DDR Ram, 1 x 200 Gig and 1 x 160 Gig Seagate Harddrives, Hauppauge PVR500MCE

I have no explicit plans to add hollywood+ support. Sorry.

In the past someone has mentioned drivers that allow the hollywood+ to emulate an XCard - whether it works, I have no idea, but you might like to try it. See:

I have my Hollywood+ card working partially. I edited the config.xml and added "Sigma Designs MPEG-2 hardware decoder" in as a SupportedDecoder. Then I was able to choose it under Software decoders (even though it is actually a hardware decoder). I was able to watch live tv as normal, then when I started timeshifting, it used the Hollywood+ for decoding.
If you want it to output to a TV, just open sigma's dvd player ahead of time and switch the output to TV mode, GB-PVR will then output to the TV instead, although, no OSD is displayed to the TV. If you can stand to use non-Live Preview, then you will always have the picture on your TV.
I have a PII 333MHz (yeah, that fast) running as my front end with my Hollywood+ card in it and it keeps up just fine. Only drawback is I have to have a monitor there to control the OSD.
