I'm very new to this NextPVR system.  I know PLEX, but there seems to be something missing with PLEX, which is why I would like to try NextPVR.  I've installed the program on my Windows PC desktop.  I can make it to the control panel Smile.  Then to settings, of which I'm totally lost.  I have an HDHomeRun hooked up to my antenna and to my router.  I even had NextPVR scan the thing and came up with 24 channels.  Some of these channels are ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox.  I can go to the Channels and see that they are all there and check off the ones I don't want.   When I click on the top menu and click on TV Guide I get the station name (all 24 of them), and then where something should be there isn't anything but "(no listings)".  So this is the problem and how can I correct it?
Thank You.

Any many parts of the world they transmit TV listings which NextPVR can use for automatically, so you don't have a TV guide full of "(no listing)". Unfortunately that isn't the case in the US. Technically there is, but it typically only has a few hours of listings, so kind of useless.

In that part of the world, most people get a Schedules Direct account, and configure NextPVR to use that. It gives a couple of weeks of listings at all times, and artwork and other nice stuff. There are other ways to get guide data.

Plex Pass includes guide data, in NextPVR you have to setup the EPG yourself. To get the same data as Plex you could subscribe to Schedules Direct but one quick solution for testing would be the guide that you get from Silicondust using a utility I posted here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=64648

Here is video I made adding that scanning with that guide data.

I guess ATT is blocking my IPV6 connection.  Here's a screen shot of it.

Hold the phone, I turned on IVP6, and then ran the bat file. Seems so far it's working. I'll know here in a few mins. I've re-read a post, and your dream has come true. If this works, my HDHomerun is FLEX.

Well, it worked! I got the TV guide on all my channels. However, while watching the TV program, I noticed it would buffer and stop for about 3 secs and then start and then stop again after 3 seconds on all major channels, CBS, NBC and FOX. However, it seems that ABC is working okay. Recommendation? By the way, I'm running this on a I9-11900K CPU, Z590-e motherboard, with 32GB of memory and nothing else running. So what would be causing the stopping, going, stopping going?

I will report back to you tomorrow about some other problems that I can see. Maybe in the afternoon. The wife calls.

With such a powerful machine even cpu mode should ok, but you should probably enable hardware transcoding for comparison. Plex offers a much more powerful web transcoding engine with more automatic configurations. On the other hand you will find there are more direct play clients for NextPVR on several platforms if you don't want to use a browser.
