First time user trying to set up my AverMedia A180 HD card to work with GBPVR. Stumbled around in the dark with GraphEdit and finally added the following section to BDA.ini - I THINK it's right, but since I can't get GB-PVR to work, not sure if this is the problem or something else:
[AVerMedia A180]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=AVerTVHD A180 BDA ATSC Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=AVerTVHD A180 BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
In the config, under "Capture Sources", I've set one up (chose my card in the dropdown), and configured it to use my Zap2It account. It successfully connects with my ID and PWD, and gets my channel info because I see it add my channels to the "Channels" grid in the config. Oddly though - when I go back into the config, all the "Enabled" checkboxes are unchecked.
Anyway, after I do an "Update EPG" (takes a few minutes with my lousy 64k ISDN connection), I exit out of the configurator and start GB-PVR. Whenever I hit "Live TV" or "TV Guide" I get an error dialog: "No channels have been set up. Please run the config utility and set up the EPG source, etc etc etc".
Any thoughts? There are a lot of .log files I could post, but I wasn't sure which would be important to send...
Oh, btw - I'm on Windows XP with SP2. And when I run "MUXChecker" it tells me I don't have any on my machine, which is bogus - GraphEdit shows that filter just fine...
