I'm a newbie to all of this, so your help will be much appreciated :o

I installed GBPVR09413 on my system for use with my WinTV-PVR-150 (single tuner only), but everytime a pre-scheduled TV-Guide recording starts I receive an error similar to the following ...

[
GBPVRRecordingService.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x1a4 (420), Thread id=0x4d0 (1232)

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.
]

If I click on CANCEL, I receive the following error ...

[
GBPVRRecordingService.exe - No debugger found.

Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2 (2). Please check computer settings.

cordbg.exe !a 0x1a4

Click on Retry to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually.
Click on Cancel to abort the JIT debug request.
]

While these errors are received, GBPVR still records the program, however, it does not stop recording when the stop time is reached. Instead, it will continue recording until every gig is consumed.

Like I said, I'm new to this, so please let me know if there are any specific log files I should provide here for support.

Thanks in advance!

Just a little bit more info to consider ...

After the above error occurs, if I enter the "Pending" menu under "Recordings" and try to CANCEL the recording, I receive the following pop-up error in GB-PVR:

[Failed to communicate with the Recording Service]

Thanks again,

CTD

That's most likely because it crashed and therefore isn't running. Try downgrading your Hauppauge drivers if at all possible.

it would help if u zip the GBPVRRecordingService.log and post it here (as attachment),
maybe u set first the loglevel to debug in the configuration utility and reproduce the error.

CTD,

This is a known problem with the current, non-beta PVR150 drivers. Upgrading to the beta drivers corrects the problem. If you'd like more information, there are several threads on this topic in this forum.
