Which codecs/muxers are system default

How do I find out which codecs are the system defaults for my computer? I looked under control panel->system->device manager->sound, video, game controllers->video codecs, but I couldn't find anything that indicated defaults. I also downloaded vcswap, but again, no indication of defaults

I'd also like to find out which mux filter is being used by gbpvr, however I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I assume I could find the answer in one of the log files, no?

Isn't there some kind of windows register that describes what the default is? config.sys, or somewhere in the control panel?

graphedit may well tell me what I need to know, but it looks like it's miles over my head.

You'd have to look in the log files. It'll be listed in GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log
