I will come back to this in the morning as I had to try & get it useable for tonight so it is now up & running again after swapping the hub again.... just for completeness attached are the logs after getting it to work.

I see you have a third hub it is now on .05

In any case not there is little I can do know without the logcat file. It would be a good idea to enable the EventLogger in the uidroid settings. That gives a little bit more information about the file that is being received, it might explain no video with audio.

Not the best day for me health wise yesterday but not bad so far today.

Should I enable EventLogger on the bedroom system now or wait until the problem(s) resurfaces?

As for the logcat file I have never been able to get ablink (or ablink2) to connect to any of the Chromecasts...
trying again now but this is what I get? I haven't done anything with any of the Kodi stuff as I don't use it.

For event logger enable it now.

Not sure why your are using the NextPVR port for adb I don't use adblink but doesn't it default to 5555?

Same doesn't connect with 5555.... I retied that again just now

When you installed the apk I assume you opened adb in the developer options maybe you closed it or maybe it isn't on .07 anymore.

Nope the chromecasts are all still in developer mode.... I ended up having to use 'X plore' on the chromecasts to install the apk

Did you enable USB debugging too? I just dug out an old Chromecast and I forgot how slow the Chromecast was but adblink worked ... kind of. It is terrible for logcat. Once you get adblink working I will explain.

I can see a "USB Connection" option (which I didn't select) but not 'debugging' where is it hidden?
