Has anyone yet been able to shut off the Media MVP screensaver. I see lots of posts from some trying to, just no resolutions yet.
Anyone find the magic process?

i have rev. E1M and i had the same problem there for a while but i found the area in the hauppage software to adjust the time for screen saver and i think you just have to make sure to turn the unit off and back on to get the settings to stay...[green button]
go find the "C:\Program Files\Hauppauge MediaMVP\Users\xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx\Temp\ConfigurationSet.xml" [xx=mac address of your MVP] and look for Code: <set name="Screen Saver Delay" id="SCREENSAVERDELAY" selected="3600000"> stop the gbpvr service, start the hauupage software [using the bat file in \hardware] then goto config and you'll notice it's changed! save your config and exit back to main menu...then hit green button to turn off then turn back on...[i played a movie too while i was in there.] then turn off the MVP services and turn GBPVR back on... seemed to work for me after the same problem..... However, it doesn't come on if I go back to the GB-PVR main menu, where the clock update keeps the screen refreshed. I have a rev D3A.

If you're using the latest version of GBpvr you can insert this line in your config.xml file found in the gbpvr directory. I've put it as the first line right under the <!-- MVP Settings --> <DisableHauppaugeMVPScreenSaver>true</DisableHauppaugeMVPScreenSaver> I haven't seen the bouncing Hauppauge logo since.
