Add PostDelete script

Following on from the subtitle experimentation I was doing in Externally generated SRT subtitles for DVB recording not displayed, I was hoping we could add a hook that fires on recording file deletion; it could be named PostDelete or similar.

I'd like to be able automatically delete the subrip files generated for each recording without having to run an external (non-NextPVR) script.

Are you just wanting to have the .english.srt files deleted when you delete the recording in NextPVR? If so, did you try simply adding "english.srt" to the DeleteAdditionalExtensions element in the config.xml file? With my setting:

<DeleteAdditionalExtensions>srt,txt,log,d2a,edl,csv,bat,wme,vprj,logo.txt,dvbsub,sm,xml,mp4,ffmeta,thumbnails,timing</DeleteAdditionalExtensions>

It will automatically delete a file matching the base recording name with a .srt extension. But, I'm not sure if it will handle your "compound" .english.srt extension.

Thanks for the tip! It turns out NextPVR does recognise and remove the .English.srt files.

I still think it would be useful to expose a dedicated hook as well.
