Nice program but is there any way to reduce the time the info bar is displayed over a channel, every time you touch your mouse?
6 seconds is way too long and annoying, and surely if you are adjusting something you'll be moving the cursor anyway.

It looks like the timeout on a move is 2500 from the last move as you exit the screen. Have a look a the player.html file The showcontrol function has the 2500 setting. There are different timeouts on startup and on clicking.

However if you find the OSD time in recordings better and you don't use the on-screen channel tuning you remove the second call to show control in the mouse move function currently around line 519

Remember your changes to player.html, they will not be saved on updates.

Hi Martin, I have tried various amending of timeouts 2500 to 500 and 7500 to 2500, but I either haven't found the correct one or more than one needs to be changed. There are some 5000 timeouts which corresponds to the length of the OSD, but don't appear to be a 'function' ( leaseTimer = self.setInterval(renewLease, 5000).

Since you talked about a mouse I figured you were using the web player but sub correctly asked and you are using the Desktop app so my instructions don't apply. PVRs are typically for the 10 foot interface.

The desktop is configure in the config.xml

<OSDTimeoutInfo>4000</OSDTimeoutInfo>
<OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause>10000</OSDTimeoutInfoOnPause>
<OSDTimeoutStatus>4000</OSDTimeoutStatus>
<OSDTimeoutTimeline>4000</OSDTimeoutTimeline>
<OSDMouseControls>4000</OSDMouseControls>
