Hi, Could someone please explain in detail how to include a Jpg Icon for the media files or Video files i have. I would like to use Pictures to show what Video files i have rather than Text. I read that you have to import the file into the file with the video and change the name to default.jpg. I did that and it still will not show the Jpg file. THanks

Hello,

I find in the directory of the mpg itself the file folder.jpg which is the one shown in GBPVR. For some reason it generates these files automatically on some shows (are they in the broadcast and does GBPVR detect them?)

Hence I suppose that you have to call them folder.jpg
Regards Koen,

Hi, These are the instructions for including a Icon for a Video file as Per GBpvr
web site.

Use Icon View for media libraries This will cause GB-PVR to show the video and music library contents in iconic form rather than as a listing. In this mode, putting a picture file with the name “default.jpg” in a folder will cause it to be displayed as the folder icon in GB-PVR. Unchecking this item will result in a listing form.

Where do you put this folder?. I would suppose it would go in the Program files or in the Video itself?. I am not sure as neither works. As suggestions
would be helpful. I did a search for this and did not get much help or was
not what i was looking for. Thanks

Hi, They are ISO files that i have on a harddrive. I would like to have a Jpg
image of the that video file to go with the Iso, I have tried to use the default
image of the jpg i have for the Iso and it did not work or did using the image as the folder image. Do i just place the Jpg in with the Iso file and rename it
Default.Jpg or Folder.jpg?. You said you need to go into the Directory of the
Mpg. I guess i do not know what you mean.

The program image (I usually call it folder.jpg) should be placed in the folder which contains the appropriate program (eg if you have an image for the program "scrubs", you should name it folder.jpg and save it to the "scrubs" recordings sub-directory.) The My Videos, Video Archive and xrecord plugins all offer some functionality for downloading appropriate program images.

Hi, I guess i am not having any luck getting the images to show up, As i have
included the Image Jpg in the File with the ISO and it does not show image
Is their a trick to doing this?. I did rename it folder.jpg and Default.Jpg and
neither one would work. Is their any way you can put a image on a ISO file and they show the JPG instead?. Thanks for the reply.

If you have an ISO file called PHANTOM_REG24_UKAUS_DISC1_P.ISO, then it'll look for an image file called LAURA_REG24_UKAUS_DISC1_P.ISO.jpg

Alternatively if you have your DVD ripped to a directory structure, it can use a dvdinf file if it finds one - which can reference a cover image.

Hi, I tried that and it did not work. I have a movie it is in ISO format. It is labeled The marksman. I relabeled the jpg to The Marksman.iso.jpg and it did not show any image on the file listed in the video's listed in my Videos section of the Gbprv. Is their something i am missing?. I did relabel it The Marksman.Jpg too and it did not work. The File is labeled The Marksman
Not The Marksman.Iso so i would Just have to relabel it The marksman.Jpg Not The marksman.Iso.Jpg Right?
