Hey there,

Ok, so my recurrings seem to be working just fine. However, now I am unable to play any of my video recordings, even the old ones that previously worked. I can select to play the video, it sits for a sec, then goes back to the listing of videos.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
stefan

Can you check the log files in (typically) c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr and see if they might indicate what's wrong?
I'm not always right

Ok, I looked through the gbpvr-exe files, and besides some problems with the weather plug in, no errors that I can see. Was this the right file? Can I email the log files for a more experienced eye to have a gander?

Now, I am logging in to windows under a different login than what I created it on, as my roommate actually did it on his. The problems didn't start then, but would that make a difference?

New Problems Just Noticed
1. Also, in the "next scheduled recording", there is "none" even though there are programs to record under recurring.

2. Under the TV guide, nothing is showing up.

3. Under "search" nothing there either. I can access the menus, but they are blank with TV shows present.

Any ideas?
Thanks,

Sounds like the EPG isn't being updated.
Run the Config Application, Capture Source, Select you capture source, click Edit, Click on the Update EPG button to update the downloaded EPG
Restart GBPVR and check if the programmes are listed in the TV guide
If not then you need to check that you are actually downloading a EPG

You're welcome to post your logs here. Zip them and add them to a posting. That said, Sub - who is the most suited to actually understand the log files - is on vacation this week.

That depends on what the error is Big Grin Sorry, but that's the most precise I can be, since I don't know where the problem lies...
