automated tasks aren't working

For some reason, re-encoding is now working. I didn't change a darn thing, but its been regularly converting to WMV for a few days now. I'm going to switch it over to DivX and see if it works as well. I don't have immediate plans to move video off my GBPVR box, but if I do in the future, DivX will work better for me.

Converting to divx is problematic for many people. You're more likely to have success with XVid or WMV.

However, it still isn't updating my TV listings. I've switched to various times of the day, and still nothin'. I'm looking at the GBPVR.exe.log, but it doesn't tell me a thing. There's not even an entry for the times I choose to download the listings. I've logged into my Zap2It account and all is well, and manually updating the guide works fine.

Post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log for that time of day and I'll take a look. The most common reason for this is the user has a firewall stopping this update from happening.

i have the problem of it not auto converting. if i manually run gbpvrconvert it does fine. if i restart the gbpvr service, between the time frame i set in the config app, it does fine then. but it won't automatically do it.
