Reboot,

Can't you use autoit to clear the recycle bin at regular intervals?

$10 is the cost of a normal key at this point.

@ erik, the last thing I need, is an other TSR, looking after something as rudimentary as emptying the bin. Nice idea though.
I do it whenever I think of it (rarely), or something complains about lack of space, or when I notice that SA is running, and nothing's been recorded for at least an hour.
On a PVR, it's nice to have as few services, and other programs running, as possible.

How about using dirmon to monitor your recycle bin and delete everything it finds?

Another option is to disable the recycle bin on that drive. Depending on your usage, that may be the best option.

Hi,

Can SA create output files in Cuttermeran ( http://www.cuttermaran.de/site/291/default.aspx )project format? This format is a little different in that the output list is of segments to *keep* rather than the "Comskip type" list of commercials to cut.

I could post a working .cpf file if it would help.

Thanks.

I was approached with this request some time ago and decided to not support it due to the inconsistancies and complications involved in the demuxed file extensions.

Thanks for the reply, Jere.

I understand your decision to not support the Cuttermaran output file. I ask, alternatively, could you consider creating an output .txt file with the frame number ranges of segments to *keep* rather than segments to cut? This would help me (and maybe others too) to manually create a Cuttermaran .cpf file.

I'd like to use Cuttermaran because of the clean timeline it creates when cutting out commercials. This is in contrast to the timeline problems when using mpgtx to cut them.

Thanks.
