not sure.. can't you doublecheck with zap2it, and see if it's listed there?

yea,my zap2it quide still had the world series game 7 in it too...seems they didn't ever remove it...[probably cuz they had 'alternately showing:' stuff in there so they never messed with it after that...
[like a dagger in the hearts of us Astros fans..lol just rub it in!]
yea, you'd think a week after it'd been cancelled they'd remove it..
thanx for the info on the 'update epg' button, didn't know that..
wish there were some way to make zap2it not automatically add new channels when they get added to the lineup...totally annoying..usually channels i can't get and are foreign language...can i lock down the channels without accepting new ones in XMLTV? would try that instead of zap2it if it works..

dottore Wrote:yes, there is: search the forums for -onlyupdateEPG for example. my solution is to write following lines to the updateepg.bat:

gbpvr.exe -onlyemptyEPG
gbpvr.exe -onlyupdateEPG

this does the job and your recordings won't be lost.

I added this and i saw it finally work today
I have lost all my schedule from today (11/02/05) til the 11/11 which was where it stoped previosly I currently have from the 11/11 til the 11/15
i have zap to it set for 14 days

my updateepg.bat file is as follows
gbpvr.exe -onlyemptyEPG
gbpvr.exe -onlyupdateEPG
It was called properly
A "dos " box appeared saw the command lines in it
then the epg update came on
when i check the schedule there was nothing for the next 10 days

thanks for any help

I havnt actually been reading this thread, other than the last couple of posts, so appologies if I'm miles off.

Maybe you should export your recordings, remove and recreate your capture source, then do an 'Update EPG' again, then import your recordings again.

Backup your gbpvr.mdb file first though.
