Playing back recordings or live TV on the PVR 350 TV out. Normally it gives a perfect result, but sometimes sound and video start to go somewhat out of sync. Especially noticable when people are talking a lot, you hear sound a fraction before the lips start moving.
Using skip back and fwd again sometimes reduces it somewhat, but not completely. I get this on recordings with various quelatiy settings.
I also noticed that after using Pause, sync usually is way off and I have to skip back and fwd to get it in sync again.

Running Hauppauge drivers 1.18.21.22266

Any suggetsions ?

I have noticed this sometimes and have yet to find a cure, I have tried various hauppauge drivers for my 350 and it seems to do it all versions. Mine doesnt get to far out, just enough to notice that the lips arent quiet in sync, maybe a few milliseconds.

On Hauppauge's site they mention that if you have Via circuits on the southbridge this may happen. They suggest that you download the "via latency patch". The link on their website is faulty, but you can still find it around the web. Be sure to read the instructions, and runt the utilities to check if the motherboard you have is safe to run the patch on.

Needless(?) to say, I tried it, and it didn't make one bit of difference. Maybe I shold try to get another computer. Someday. Without Via. I just wish there was some guarantee it would help ;-)
