Quesitons about config.xml

Browsing the config.xml file, I noticed "UsePVR350QuickMode" and I was just curious to what this was?

I've read the posts about screen position and size, and have a problem.  First off, my tv is NTSC and I'm using the PVR350 and this happens using overlay, vmr 7 and 9.  I wanted to max out the resolution to achieve a better picture at 720x540.  While the liveTV and playback of videos is better, the GBPVR menu positions are either to high, low, left, and right.  I can fix this by lowering the screen resolution but at the cost of picture quality.  Is there something I am doing wrong with the config.xml file.  Here is a link to my config.xml file.

The quick mode setting is no longer used.

Its very slow transferring the OSD video memory to the PVR350, which can make things feel a little sluggish on a slow machine. In the early days you were able to select quick mode which used a 8-bit (256 color) OSD. This transferred the smaller amount of OSD much quicker. It was a bit ugly so I disabled it a long time ago.

If you're running an NTSC setup, you should make sure your ((offset-x + width) < 720) and ((offset-y + height) < 480) otherwise the software will inforce some of the defaults.
