gbpvr and Plextor PX-TV402U

Hi,

I tried the gbpvr but it didn't work.
I chose the "Composite" etc. etc. etc. but it just didn't work.

Can somebody help me? What do I have to do?

Are there any other programs that work well with the plextor?

When I clicked on "Live TV", the message "Failed to locate configured capture device" was shown on the screen.
I do think that my settings are correct.
Is there any way of using EPG when having only a sat-receiver connected with the plextor?

zip and email your logs to support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. You can find them in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr

Depends which country you're in. Google for your country name and "xmltv".

And I also tried to "install" EPG. I used this xmltv-tool.
I edited the gbpvr-settings but the EPG still doesnt work.

What error did it give you in the config.exe.log after you clicked the 'Update EPG' button?

Actually there hasnt been an error message yet. I also pressed the "Update EPG"-button and the program wanted to establish an internet connection with the tv-magazine. I cancelled this update as I thought that the data I just downloaded (via xmltv-command) are new.
After launching the gbpvr I clicked on "TV-Guide" but no TV-data was shown.

More than that I noticed that some of the stuff was shown in German when I last tried it, though i didnt change any language-related options etc.

It was probably trying to download channel icons which were referred to in your XMLTV file.

I cancelled this update as I thought that the data I just downloaded (via xmltv-command) are new.

You need to let the 'Update EPG' run to completion or the shows wont be imported into GB-PVR's database.
