Nvidia Purevideo codec problems and no audio

As best I can tell, yes. I can include the whole picture, but the forum upload gadget says they are too big. I had to cut out that part so you could still read it. The graph looks the same right up to the audio codec. Actually, when the Nvidia codec is running, I can click on the tray icon and see that it is decoding audio. It has a bar graph showing the bitrate for both audio and video.

Anyway, the Nvidia graph still plays fine in graphedit with sound, just like the nero graph. I'm going to bed now, I'll try some more stuff tomorrow.

I just installed a 6600GT card, nVidia drivers, and lastly purevideo.

My sound died too - I was able to get it back by going into the sound & audio hardware applet in the control panel, clicking on the hardware tab and telling it to use my mixer device (it had apparently been disabled). Apparently the vid drivers had reconfigured the sound system Not sure if this is the same problem or not, but that's what fixed mine.

Edit: --- well, at least for live TV and recordings -- DVD still broken...
