Remote Problems

I have just bought a new PVR 350 but I have a problem with the remote. It seems to be working fine in the menus, but as soon as I start Live TV I get a message box with title "IR Startup" and the message "Found IR Controller(30) FW version=16" I looked into the logs, but there seems to be nothing logged for this problem.
Please help this looks like a great program but with this problem I cannot use it.

I also have another informative question. I used to live in the US and my TV is NTSC. Now that I moved in Europe I had to use an NTSC/PAL converter to be able to see any TV. My PVR is PAL, but I would like to use the TV out of the 350 but output NTSC video to the TV in order to bypass the converter, which screws up the picture quality. Is there a way to convert the format on the fly to NTSC format?

That IR message is not a GB-PVR message, so you're unlikely to find anything in the logs. If you running the drivers that came with your card, maybe you should try newer ones from http://www.shspvr.com. Alternatively, you could try enabling the 'use direct access to hauppauge remote' option, and kill ir.exe.

I suspect the MPEG decoder will output whatever format you feed in, with no way to on-the-fly convert PAL video to NTSC.
