My new PC has a TV card that supports:

Dual DVB-T
Dual DVB-S
Dual Analogue

Using the supplied software I can watch one channel whilst recording another.. or record from 2 different channels..

Is this possible with GB-PVR ?? How ??

Thanks

What card is it?

If it has BDA drivers you'll be able to use the DVB-T and DVB-S side of things to watch and record at the same time.

Its unlikely the analog side of the device will work with GB-PVR.

Yes. You'd need to setup two capture sources for the one device.

It's a Philips SAA713x Card, supplied in the new Medion 8800 PC.

Take a look here for the full spec's on the card and PC.

You may need to register to view..

and in the specs it says it doesnt need to boot to windows to play dvds and CDs etc, how does it do that?

There's a button on the front, that boot very quickly into a Linux Media Centre.
It's Power Cinema for Linux, and it looks great !!!

The PC works very well and is very quite.

If you've correctly setup two capture sources, then you should be able to schedule two recordings from the tv guide for the same time, or schedule a recording and watch live tv at the same time.
