Is there a way to disable the re-adding of the default net radio stations? I only want about 4-5 stations listed in the window, but whenever I launch the application on my PC, it re-adds all the default stations.

Did you delete the appropriate .pls files in the netradio dir?
Tou can also add pls. files (from Shoutcast) for stations you ant to add.

That exactly what I have been doing.

The issue is that the progam keeps re-adding the default ones that I deleted manually. It does it whenever I run the config or GB-PVR locally.

I call bullshit. These are only installed by GB-PVR when it is installed. Once deleted, they stay gone until your next install.

I wish it were the case. I go the net radio directory and delete all the .pls files. Then I run config and an installer window pops up and re-adds all the pls files. Surely I am not the only one seeing this and I appologize for calling you shirley [Image: biggrin.gif]

If you delete the .pls files, where is the config app going to copy them back from? The files are only in this directory, and they're not even read by the config app. Even GB-PVR only ever *reads* these file...

Can you send a screenshot of this installer that pops up? Email it to support@devnz.com.

I'm also having this issue. Everytime I remove any file from the GB-PVR directory, next time I either launch GBPVR.exe or config.exe, the msi installer pops up again and reinstalls the files I removed. I can add files, I just cant remove any that were part of the original install.

If I delete or move the source msi to prevent the program from re-copying the files, I get a prompt to provide the path to it (GBPVR0214.msi). If I press cancel, I get an error and GB_PVR wont launch. Removing the reg key doesnt help (it jsut causes more errors).

This is only a problem for the net radio stations because I dont particularly like the default ones, so I too wanted to remove them from the list. The only way I found arround this is to leave all the files there, and just delete their content. That way the msi installer is happy that all the original files are still there, and I dont have any of the original radio stations listed in the program, just those I added.

That is so strange. I just cant see what would possibly cause this to happen.

I can confirm this. It's almost like file-protect. Maybe a feature of the installer or .net or XP SP2?

Yes, that was my first thought. Basically those people with this problem are just going to have to live with the existing set of radio stations for now. Sorry.
