Problems getting HVR-850 to detect stations

So I just installed a splitter to my antenna and a HVR-850 USB dongle and I'm not getting any stations on my dongle. I am, however, getting stations on my TV so I know that I am getting some sort of signal. Attached are my config.exe.log stuff.

Also I am running windows 7 x64 and GB-PVR is detecting my tuner as a HVR-950Q even though it is a HVR-850. Also I tried their app (wintv 7) and I still didn't pick up any channels.

In those logs there is no sign of any signal lock.

Does Windows Media Center find any channels? I suspect if WinTV isnt, and WMC doesnt, then there is no way GB-PVR will either.

Darn it! WMC isn't detecting channels either. Why would my TV detect channels and not my tuner when they are on the same splitter?

I am going to piggy back on this thread since it is the most recent addressing the HVR-850 / HVR-950.

I am getting the "No Channels Found" error when trying to complete the digital channel mapping portion of the config.

My info...

Win7 x64 Pro
HVR-850 (is being detected as HVR-950)
Win7 Media Center has no problem playing and recording TV via the same tuner.

I have also tried updated the BDA.ini file for my card as noted in other posts in this forum. Attached is my filtercheck log, config.exe log and relevant BDA entries. Thanks in advance.

Wait there it goes. WMC is now detecting my channels! Now I just need to get GB-PVR to do the same...

The last logs you posted only scanned two frequencies. Scan the full set then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take another look.

Arg, looks like its just that the ATSC chipset on the HVR-850 needs a higher SNR than my Vizio TV. The config tool is detecting stations, they just have too low of quality to be viewable on that chipset.

Sorry - there no errors from GB-PVR's perspective, but the device never manages to lock a signal.

Since I gotta replace my card, any recommendations for a good ATSC card in a low signal area?
