Path to temp .mpg for MVP Transcode

Is there a way to designate a different path (other than the default path for recordings) for where the temporary .mpg file transcoded for the MVP will be?

On my system, whenever I am recording (Medium quality) the drive seems to be too busy for the transcoding process (360x240 ntsc-svcd -acodec copy) to run without fail. After a few seconds it gives up. When no other major process is using that drive, the transcode is fine.

The "from" file (.avi divx) is already on another drive, I have a third drive as the one I'd like to designate as the drive for the temporary .mpg to be written to.

I skimmed config.xml, didn't see anthing... Any ideas? Some kind of link maybe?

No, there is no setting for this. It's always created in your recordings directory.

Maybe someday XP will have a unix-like symlink that would easily solve my problem here.
