Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe NTSC

I have got the Pinnacle working fine for recording video using the Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe (PAL) by changing all PAL entries to NTSC. However it records video fine but there is no audio. Also during Live TV there is no audio either. Here is my debug info. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

If you download and run GraphEdit (try google), then from the menu choose "insert filters" and insert the Pinnacle PCTV crossbar and capture filters, then compare the name of the direct.ini section. If you cant work it out, you can email me a screenshot of the two filters and I'll help.

It is not listed under "Audio Capture Sources" just the internal sound card is.

Did lyou get all the info you need. It is still not working for audio. I had it working once with Sage installed, but it is not working again. Same issue works fine except for audio.

neztik did you make any progress with GBPVR and PCTV Deluxe NTSC? I am using the same TV Tuner and can't even get video.
What was the settings you used.
sub: PCTV (PAL) version is listed as supported in GBPVR but according to this post http://gbpvr.com/cgi-bin....+deluxe

I have already copied the PAL section to create a new NTSC option by replacing (PAL) in entries with (NTSC). What else do I need.

I just discovered GB-PVR as I am annoyed with PCTV Vision 2.1. But I had this error message 'Failed to connect pinNameCrossbarAudioDecoderOut to pinNameCaptureAnalogAudioIn'

I am using Pinnacle PCTV Deluxe USB (PAL)

I tried to follow the guide in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t=pinnacle

but I still get the error message. Anyone can help.

Looks like something to do with your Audio drivers/decoders. Just a hunch... In the PLayback tab of config try setting your Audio Decoder and Audio Renderer to system default?

I just wanted to comment on my GBPVR / PCTV Deluxe (NTSC) experience.
Incase other PCTV Deluxe owners find this thread in a search, then hesitate about trying GBPVR.

GBPVR recognized my PCTV Deluxe (NTSC) and installed perfectly on the first attempt, with three different systems.
Absolutely no software alterations were needed, and its been working perfectly with GBPVR for over three months now.

I think a lot of software / driver symptoms result from the horrible power supply Pinnacle bundled with the PCTV Deluxe.
I replaced my power supply with something larger and more stable, and I’m using the latest “Dune_beta_17.zip” driver from the Pinnacle site.
