hi all

Every day i use GB pvr i love it more and more (although new bugs pop up daily to keep me busy Smile ), great work on this awesome product!. this days issue is that ive started to use the time shift option but i cant use it. each time i press begin time shift (i press rec) a black screen that says begining time shifting appears and after 3 secs it throws me back to the main menu. it happens every time i do it, i am not able to use the time shift option at all. i am using the latest version. would love to hear any ideas on how to fix it if they exist.

thx alot in advance for this great product, without it my htpc would be crap (i have tried All the other pvr they all suck compared to GB PVR)

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

Can you please post the fix to this issue? I think I'm having the same problem...I hit pause, get the notification that time shifting is beginning, it takes me back to the LiveTV screen for about 2 seconds and then kicks me back to main menu? I checked my recording folder and it looks like it starts to time shift - because there is around 2mbs worth of the show in there. Is there a setting somewhere I've missed? I am a newbie at GBPVR...

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I was having the very same issue. I had initially set up gbpvr to save recordings and the buffer to my network server. After setting the buffer and recording to save on local drive all worked fine. Not sure why I can't save to my network server. I tried the UNC path as well as the network drive path with no sucess. Anyone have any ideas?

If it wasnt able to save fast enough, or there was lots of local caching for the network drive, you'd probably get this behaviour. You may find if you increase the 'live tv pre-play delay' it'll help.

Does that work for non-mvp setups?

I still have the sitution where it does that every so often. I also wonder if it would fix the problem for the hiccup people, since some report if you pause or skip back a little it fixes it.

For some reason your machine can't find the gbpvr parser. Try the following:
regsvr32 "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRParser.ax"
