Hmm, I think someone else suggested grabbing another set of tracks. I'll add that one.

you could make it simpler as well just choose say 15 tracks randomly and choose next set when they have runout,

or if you want to make it complicated always have say 15 tracks queued to play.

the MusicPlayer uses the red button to do this.

Yeah that's been a long standing request, I forgot about it for this release. Have to see how accessible sub's code is, since playlist management is actually handled by GBPVR all I do is feed it which tracks and display them. Easy to get rid of a track by stopping the playing and regenerating the list, but not sure if i can just say, delete.

tkgafs, BTW, and I've just done it here today for listening, you can hit the random button more than once and it will just add to the existing playlist. i.e. my default is 60 minutesm, but by hitting random 3 times i now have about 3 hours of music queued.

I have my MP3 files separated into different folders (ie 80's, Country, Rap, etc). Ideally I would like to listen to a random playlist from a specific folder (genre) depending on my mode. As far as can tell you can only have a huge list of songs in your library with no separation by folders. If anyone know how to do show folders in the plugin or I'm missing something please let me know. Thanks.

Correct. The whole point of MusicLibrary2 is to take songs from all and any folders to add to the play list.

I've haven't done anything yet with genres, but am actually thinking about it.

You might want to take a look at the Music Player plugin; I wrote it originally for this exact usage pattern because I couldn't find another plug-in that did exactly this.

Hmm..It works on my main pc...one that i dont use for gbpvr..But when i install it on the gbpvr computer...it complains about UltraID3Lib.dll Is missing or dependices...This is in config....Im trying to add the music...

You might want to take a look at the Music Player plugin; I wrote it originally for this exact usage pattern because I couldn't find another plug-in that did exactly this.

lonegeek, have a look in your plugin directory of gbpvr there should be an ultraid3lib.dll in there. I can't check the zip fil on the wiki as the site seems to be down at the moment, but there should have been the musiclibrary2.dll and the ultraid3lib.dll inthe zip file.

Curiously since re-installing my xp system on Sunday [after I screwed it up applying a driver update] I am also having this problem

ultraid3lib.dll exists in both c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr and in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins

but when I try and run musiclibrary2 it fails with the message that ultraid3lib.dll is missing or missing dependencies

I am puzzled as to what is wrong
