Force mono sound

I have a problem with my Hauppauge USB2 device. Some channels keep on switching from mono to stereo causing an annoying repetitive click sound. The same problem is occuring with WinTV - so it's not GB-PVR specific. With WinTV I can force the sound to be mono. Please help on forcing the mono-setting in GB-PVR as well. Thank you.

I dont think is an option at the moment, but I'll add one for the next release.

better than switching to mono would be, to be able to select the sound channel (e.g. eurosport has different languages (left:english, right: german with my provider).

Or is this again a registry frequency-thing?
