My Videos doesn't show up in the main menu for me. I forgot to email the logs to myself at work... but i do recall seeing the My Videos plugin failing to start because it couldn't find videos.mdb Of course I don't have a videos.mdb, just the mydatabase.mdb (i think that's what it's called). I downloaded the latest myvideos.zip file from the wiki and tried a 'reinstall' but still get the same result.

change the connection string to point to mydatabase.mdb, you must of had a older version of my videos at one time which used the videos.mdb file

instructions are on the wiki, under "general configuration" (or whatever the "tab" is called in the my videos settings window).

What line to add to the convert and dvdburn bat files for the puropse of using command to run the .exe files for dvdauthor,cpva,mksfios,and mplex?Every time I try to run them, it pops up on the screen for less than a second.

dvdauthor is run by my videos itself, convert.bat just requires a dvd compatible mpeg2 video file is produces and burn does burn takes the dvd video structure and burns it to a dvd.

throw "pause" at the end of each .bat file to see what they say, if they're only popuping up for a second chances are an error has occured.

is there a way to have it also compress the recording to fit on a DVD? I have a 5-6Gb recording that I like to burn. All other recordings that are burnt are fine great plugin.

just get a command line app and use that in the convert.bat file.

ok that's what I figured. I guess it would go second in the convert.bat and do you recommend any good command line software for this?
