TV icons aren't showing up in the EPG. I'm using the latest version of Reven's XMLTVNZ as my grabber and the latest version of GBPVR.

I've just done a fresh install of both on a new PC...it was working previously on my original PC with older version of GBPVR. (Same grabber XML file)

The XML file seems to reference http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/tv1.jpeg as an example.

Any help anyone could offer would be great!

Cheers,

Simon

Here is a snippet of the XMLTV file produce by xmltvnz:

Code:

<tv generator-info-name="xmlTVNZ v2.0">

    <display-name>TV1</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV1.jpeg" />

    <display-name>TV2</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV2.jpeg" />

    <display-name>C4</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/C4.jpeg" />

    <display-name>Prime</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/Prime.jpeg" />

    <display-name>TV3</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV3.jpeg" />

    <display-name>UKTV</display-name>
    <icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/uktv.jpg" />

This includes the correct URLs. The one you supplied above is not correct (incorrect case).

This is what mine says:

- <tv generator-info-name="xmlTVNZ v2.0">
-

<display-name>TV1</display-name>
<icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV1.jpeg" />

-

<display-name>TV2</display-name>
<icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV2.jpeg" />

-

<display-name>TV3</display-name>
<icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/TV3.jpeg" />

-

<display-name>C4</display-name>
<icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/C4.jpeg" />

-

<display-name>Prime</display-name>
<icon src="http://www.gbpvr.com/logo/Prime.jpeg" />

Those URLs are fine. If they're not being downloaded automatically, then its probably because of a firewall getting in the way.

You can manually save these files in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\media\channellogos directory

Hmmm...not a firewall issue...I can browse to the web addresses fine on that PC, but I'll try copying the logos into that folder and see if it works.

If you run zone alarm, or another firewall app, its possible you didnt give config.exe permission to access the web.

What errors do you get in config.exe.log when you click the 'update EPG' button?

Hmmmm...looks like it is timing out...but there is no firewall software on this PC which is very odd, and I can browse from it fine and I have other software that accesses the Internet OK using this PC.

Log file attached.
