How do I add the channel logos to the guide in the newest version of gbpvr? I thought I saw a post awhile back with this information, but I'm unable to find it. I would like to only display the logo and the channel number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Set <TVGuideChannelHeaderType>0</TVGuideChannelHeaderType> in config.xml, and save channel icons with the same name as the channel in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos.

Is there a channelheadertype that will display channel number callsign and logo?

No, not without changing the skin files. '0' gives you the logo + channel name.

Zehd, you can then enhance this because SD or MceEpg2XmlTv with the display-name = 1 config option will start the channel name with the channel number.

I actually knew this. But I remember a while ago, (correct me if I'm wrong) sub suggested that NA users start having their guides the same way as the rest of the world, which I understood to have the call-signs separate from the channel numbers.

So I was just trying to do it the way supposedly everyone had it...

Personally, I like the number part of the name, but that's just me. Glad the option is there with SD (I-XMLTV method) and MCE...

I guess it isn't with the native SD EPG Update

The rest of the world also doesnt use these strange short 4 character channel names that you guys have, so it was important to try to set aside as much room as possible for the channel name.

That said, I'll probably add an additional header type for those that want the icon + number + name.

mvallevand can you elaborate on display-name = 1 config option, is this in the config.xml file or somewhere else? A workaround that would display channel number and icon would be great.

I don't use zehd's gui program, so you might need his help, but from whurlston's self-documenting config.ini file

Code:
; Specifies the display-name format.
; Default: 0 = "APLNT"
; 1 = "23 APLNT"
; 2 = "Animal Planet"
; 3 = "23 Animal Planet"
; 4 = "(APLNT) Animal Planet"
; 5 = "23 (APLNT) Animal Planet"
display-name = 0

So for the MceEpg2XmlTv command line it's just

MceEpg2XmlTv display-name=3 and your options.

Currently, even using the GUI, you'd need to manually edit the config.ini just as mvallevand described...
