Hi All

Just have alittle problem did a new install with the GB-PVR v0.95.16
And in options I set it to start 1 MVP client.

But every time I reboot it starts the 1 client in the background + a MVP Mediaserver window that I can just close because the service is running in the background...I dont have any shortcut in Startup for this MVP Media server...

And I did a clean install on my machine, any idea about how to change this...
Not a biggie just alittle irritating

They're probably the same one. There is a bug that can cause this to occur. It is due to the recording service starting before the desktop. GB-PVR has effectively hidden the window when it starts, but some time soon after, the desktop starts and makes the window visible again.

Ok Thanks Normally I just close the window (Starts before eveything on my desktop) and afterwards when window is finished booting my MVP still works!
Because the service is running in the background...so I dont think its the same process unless the "x" close window just minimize it to the service?

If you click the "x" to close, it'll close and be restarted...but this time the desktop is already started, so its able to make itself invisible.

You can get rid of that window by not allowing the GB-PVR Recording Service to interact with the desktop.

Administrative Tools/Services
Right click on GB-PVR Recording Service and select Properties
You will see it in the Log On tab.

I have not had any problems at all in disabling it for any of the recording functions with my TV card or playback with MediaMVP.
