Thanks.
Hey I had a couple of questions:
1) how do I erase a playlist from the plugin? (without having to go delete it from the .mdb database, ofc)
2) the plugin seems to go bonkers when you try to move from the playlist to filelist back and forth when the visualization is running. Known bug?
I don't think I've got an erase yet. I should add it.
Bonkers how, I've actually turned off my Windows Media player for audio (and therefore viz) found it dying when trying to stop after playing for a long time. Actually find subs player a bit more stable.
There anything in your logs about what's happening??
i also found a bug, where if you go out of the playlist and go to the main screen ( i think) then try to go back into the playlist, the music goes into fast forward. if you try to stop it it goes faster. you can stop it going fast by hitting fast forward a few times, but you cant get back to the queue. you need to reboot gbprv. i can recreate the exact steps if you would like but i have to rememebr exactly what I did.

Bonkers like that:
To reproduce, Ctrl-R, Ctrl-G, Ctrl-B (if the visualization isn't on by default), and then hit escape. Will return you to the previous view, but doesn't rescale the vis.
Also, once the error has happened, most keystrokes (previous or next screen, switch back to library view, hide the vis and put the album art back, etc...) don't work anymore in the plugin, you have to hit escape until you go back to GBPVR main menu, then re-enter the plugin screen
Another bug I noticed
When in playlist view, hit pause, then play works. When in library view, the song restarts at the beginning
I'm impressed so far, having bumped around music plugins. Nice work so far.
How do you get the directories to stick? My music is on other systems, and when I go back to the directory list, only one of the 2-4 network folders are still there.
Does it read doing a select disctinct from the DB, or is writing them to the config file?
Capone, it does a select distinct on the artists only. I suppose it all depends on whether the user that GBPVR is running under is allowed to access network devices.
paths are stored in the config file.
There's a couple of errors that some of the others have picked out that i need to fix so I'll look at those tomorrow (it's quiet at work at the moment).
Oh LilY0da I just thought of that second bug of yours:
Quote:Another bug I noticed

Pressing play is the other way of queuing tracks, but it restarts it, so that's less of a bug more of a "design feature". I might make it that if playing don't re populate the playlist.
