HI,

your epg source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG source settings and try again.

after searching for a while i still cant seem to get the epg to update

here is whats in config.exe if it helps

Sounds like something is wrong with the XML being returned from zap2it. According to the error, it looks like invalid data.

Zap2it have been having some problems today. It may be related to this?

Same problem here...gets stuck when I try to either update the epg, or remove/add channels. gbpvr config just sits there for about 5 minutes then spits out the error. Really annoying to troubleshoot, but I think it's just a zap2it problem on there side. Oh, and if it does download the guide info, not all the channels are listed. Is xmltv any better? I'm in the u.s.a.

Mike, do an 'update epg' then zip and attach your config.exe.log file.

I've just tried it here and found I was having the same problems.

I took a look at the XML they're returning. Its broken alright, and at the point the error occurs, the following is listed in their XML, so it's definitely occuring at their end.

<SOAP-ENV:Fault>
<faultcode xmlns:ns1='urn:TMSWebServices'>ns1:ZTVWebServiceTechnicalError</faultcode>
<faultstring>An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. If this message reappears, please contact support.</faultstring>
<detail><faultnumber>100</faultnumber></detail>

Whilst you can log into their site at the moment, you cant get to the support forum. It has all sorts of database errors. I guess they're having a few problems at the moment.

They didn't even have my account anymore, I had to create a new one.

Weirdly enough, they didn't ask for a certificate this time.

EDIT: Never mind, that was registration at the regular zap2it. Zap2it Labs still has my accounts, but I can't get EPG listings like everyone else.

And now their forums aren't even working...
