Channel Logo Problem

Hi Sub,

I had to reload the GBPVR, but now the TV Guide won't pickup the channel logos.I made a copy of all the logos before reinstalling and copied them back into the media Dir.

You must have some mismatch between your channel names and the logo image file names. If you cant work it out, zip and email me your logos files and gbpvr.mdb file and I'll tell you what you've done wrong.

If I copy the GBPVR.mdb file from my GBPVR Backup would that sort the problem. What Dir is this file in? I have checked the logos but there dosen't seem to be any mismatch.

If you don't see any logo in the tv guide it maybe the setting in the skin.xml for TV guide is set to not display icons.

I've just check your gbpvr.mdb. You have a space at the start of your channel names. This is a bug in your (radio times?) XMLTV grabber. I think this was mentioned (and fixed) a couple of weeks ago.

I have another problem with the channel logos. I started using another XMLTV grabber (in fact, the "real" XMLTV grabber) and one of the channels it gets is called "KetNet/Canvas". This seems to cause a problem, since I can not call a file "KetNet/Canvas.gif" because of the slash. I tried to use KetNet#47Canvas.gif and KetNet&2FCanvas.gif, but apparently GB-PVR does not pick that up. Can you solve this, or tell me an existing solution?

Is this fix included in the current version? I have some channels with period in the name and I don't know how to name the logo files for this channels.

Yes, its in the current version.

Periods shouldnt cause a problem. If the channels called "net.tv" then the file would be "net.tv.jpg"
