Improve Sharpness

I am looking to change the sharpness of both livetv and recording, using the reg key
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Globespan\Parameters\ivac15\Driver] "SharpnessValue"=

Will this work for gbpvr ?

Hi,

I tried that after reading about it on amontillado's site, but I have to be honest , I couldn't percieve any difference . That may be my TV though (Wharfedale 28" widescreen). I tried it using using wintv2000 as well as GB-PVR to try and check out the difference, but could'nt make out any discernable variation between the various settings. (I didn't try altering the GOP settings).

Let me know if you have any better luck.

Yes, that setting will not work. Its used behind the scenes by the driver.
