video is playing back using tv out

Hi all
When trying to watch live tv this comes up on a black screen any ideas
Hauppage 350 with rf lead from sky box

Set you 'hardware decoder' option to 'None - use software decoder' then you'll be able to see it on your PC (assuming you've got an MPEG2 decoder installed).

Thanks for the reply but nothing has changed still says on a black screen "video is playing back using tv out"
I can watch live tv using Hauppages own software no problem just nothing with this one!

If you're still getting that message, then you havnt set your 'hardware decoder' option to 'None - use software decoder'.
