Hi All,

I have a capture source setup to use the coax input of my pvr150 with cable
tv going into it. I am wondering if I can setup another source using my DISH
SAT and connecting it to the s-video and audio in on the pvr150?

Could I somehow choose to record from either?

Thanks,

Rob

Yes, you can setup up and additional capture source for s-video.

You cant specifically tell it which one to use. It'll automatically choose based on the channels available on each.

I think that with Satalite I would have to set the pvr150 to channel 3.
Is that correct, if so I think I am out of luck because my cable has a channel 3. I guess I will just add a manual switch.

Thanks,

You cant have both cable and satellite connect to the RF (tuner) input on the PVR150 (which is what I assume you're suggesting since you mention the satellite decoder outputing on channel 3).

Just to be clear - this can still only record one show at a time, right? It just picks the right input for the show selected?

Hauppauge also has an accessory cable set for the 150 that will give you an extra set of inputs if your board has the header it connects to. I have one here because I did not like the mini jack line in on the card. I have set up a VCR as a capture source on gbpvr channel 1 on the composite input and a directv box set up as a seperate capture source on s-video. It will switch between the two if I set a recording up to record from channel 1 VCR or a directv channel.

Great software Sub!
