OK, thanks for the logs. I'm looking into it.

The microsoft documentation isnt clear on the subject, but I didnt see something that indicated UTF-8 is assumed if the header isnt explicitly stated.

The Excel sheet now have 2 macros.
One to create an ANSI XML file with header.
One to create an Unicode XML file without header.
SO just translate and create the XML file - No problemo anymore.
Jhari had prepared this in the Macro. Clever, I just didn't see it immediatley.

I have updated the LanguagePlugin.ZIP and the GBPVR Translation Excel sheet in the first post.

A clarification made in the first post......of this tread.
All GBPVR users can use a Language file, even those who lives in UK or US.
There is a Language file for the US spelling.
I suggest that the Language files are made avaliable as a part of the GBPVR install package. The quality of the translations are really good now, for most of the languages.
Spanish is the only "bigger" language that has strings that are not translated. So if you speak Spanish, please update the Excel sheet and post it here.

Translations are Stopped for a while.
I am heavily reorganizing the Excel sheet and adding strings.

Sub might have some of the translations as a part of the coming GBPVR distribution. Therefor I want to test the languages and the translations with skins and see what is missing here and there.....and add as much as possible for upcoming translations.

Thanks for the Italian contribution dfdario.....I have added strings.

Sub will include updated translation in upcoming release of GBPVR......if you update them.
Look at the first post to see what translations that less than 4* ....they will not be included.

I have gotten new strings from Sub for the new build.
I also added a lot of strings for the Config program.....even though Sub has not said anything about making the Config program translatable.
You might translate those string also if you want to.

There is also a heavily updated version of Weather strings.

Please help out with the translations. You can find the Excel sheet in the first post.....as always.

Hearly release of the Italian translation!
Since the translation doesn't take in account either the contest in which the message is shown and the maximum length available it needs a further tuning phase (what's called localization).
Anyone needs "The Collection" skin specific translation?

Thanks dfdario.

Come on folks, if you're in a position to help, lets see some more work on the translations. Currently we've got reasonably good translations for

Dutch
French
Italian
Swedish
Danish
Norwegian

We've also got German and Finnish which are in need of a few touch ups.

There are several other languages that need more major work to be considered usable:

Spanish
Czech
Romanian
Greek

Portuguese
Polish
Turkish
Russian
Hebrew
Arabic
Farsi
Chinese
Korean

Thanks Sub for encouraging users to translate.

Thanks dfdario, i will include your translation for Subs upcoming release.
Regarding localization, I am working on a "sub menu" skin design where text will fit the buttons. It is in an early stage right now, but I am working on more skin designs and better graphics, before I release it officailly.

Have a look at
