Capability view current version number

I'd like bo be able to see what version of plugin I currently have installed.

I know I can see the version of GB-PVR in the Configuration Tool, but I don't know how to do it for plugins.

Perhaps there already exists some version variable...

As far as I am aware the version of a plugin is not stored in the plugin, other than it's internal build numbers, see my SysInfo plugin topic for discussion.
