I am running WinXP SP2 and am having a lot of trouble installing GB-PVR. I am using a Epia SP13000 mobo and a Hauppauge 150mce lp. The errors I get are:

Internal Error 2908.
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4B48-B816-5718E429ECB9}

After I click ok to this error the install continues until it tries to copy MceIr.dll

It says:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'wmppia,Version="9.0.0.3095",PublicKetToken="31bf3856ad364e35",Culture="neutral",GUID="6bf52a50-394a-11d3-b153-00c04f79faa6"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x8002802F.

After I click ok to that one the install craps out and it rolls back.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated

Possibly you do not have .NET framework (Microsoft) installed?

Will it work with a later version of the .net framework (2.0 for example)? Or does it have to be version 1.1?

Yes, but it didnt upgrade you version of .net, it installed 2.0 alongside 1.1. They're both still on your machine.
